ABOUT US

​In 2021, Tainted Angel Designs was created with love and awareness of mental health. The "Tainted Angel" portion of our name is inspired by art that an uncle of mine left behind when he passed away in 1992 after a long struggle with his own mental health. During his life, he was also an artist and a talented musician. He drew the angel (pictured) and recorded a song titled "Angels with Dirty Faces". Losing him at such a young age was very impactful for me. Sadly, he was not the only family member we would lose to mental health. 

​During High School, Mental Health Awareness and education quickly became a lifelong passion of mine. At the age of 17, I was also diagnosed with depression. Over many years, I have continued my own mental health coping skills, which includes art and creating. I hope to someday be able to provide donations to mental health awareness through my art. 

After moving into my home, I was gifted the original drawing of the Angel that I have always loved so much. She now hangs proudly in my Home Office.
